I have now successfully finished university, so I've decided to use my newfound time to indulge in a spot of photography! Or at least try. I've uploaded a few photos - some newer than others which is a good start! It's been so long since I was last here and active. I bought a remote for my camera too so, fingers crossed, I'm going to try a bit of long exposure stuff in the coming weeks :) I also need to work on my own personal website so I can pimp myself out to potential employers! Joy.

It's nice that people still stop at my page sometimes, even though I rarely upload anything these days. I still appreciate your words and watches! I come here every day at the moment, mostly to look at other people's work and I end up feeling really inspired, but often that's where it ends which is really disappointing. I should be out there creating my own wonderful images, or at least trying to! Especially since I did buy the 400D in the end, and I've just added a nice 50mm lens to it. I have just managed to trawl through 500+ deviations and a few messages after being away for so long! Blimey. At the moment I'm having 'want' trauma coz I still really, really want a digital SLR. Unfortunately my bank account doesn't agree (although who knows when it comes around to birthday time). Anyone have any tips for a purchase though? I've been looking at the Canon 400D, and even the Nikon D40, although I've read that has a limited selection of lenses available or something?
